This article discusses how cybersecurity could
impose a serious threat to human civilization
b.
I strongly believe an opportunity does exist in
this field simply because almost everything is done online; and critical
information such as passwords, personal information, etc are all stored online.
This is especially the case for large businesses in the financial services
industry
c.
I think the biggest consumers would probably be
government firms, legislative bodies, large finance firms, or for that matter
any large firm who is afraid of online criminals
d.
I do not think this is an opportunity that is
very difficult to exploit because large firms (especially those in the
financial services) are always looking to keep their cyber security and privacy
laws up to date. These things are huge factors in determining the safety and
success of their companies.
Why do you see the opportunity: I think this is a huge
opportunity. Nevertheless it is a tech industry and tech is something that
booms as it progresses. When cyber security becomes newer and advanced, companies
will be willing to spend whatever it takes because proper protection can
sometimes make or break a business.

Economic trend
a.
This article addresses the main concerns about
vaping: are e-cigarettes actually less harmful than cigarettes?
b.
I believe an opportunity exists because as more
and more research is being conducted, it is evidently showing that e-cigarettes
have some detrimental effects to ones health. Although may claim that despite
all the discoveries, critics claim e-cigarettes are 95% safer than traditional
cigarettes.
c.
The likely consumer of this opportunity would be
someone is trying to quit smoking cigarettes or overall just quit their addiction
to nicotine.
d.
I would say this is an easy opportunity to exploit.
People who are looking to switch from cigarettes now are offered a “healthier”
alternative, and those who want to decrease their nicotine intake have options
with different devices with respect to what percentage of nicotine the device
has.
Why do you believe an opportunity exists: I believe an opportunity
exists because having been addicted to cigarettes myself, finding a “healthier”
alternative was the best solution to try and quit my own nicotine addiction.
Thankfully I am no longer a nicotine user, but the vaping industry is huge,
rather I would say it has become an epidemic. Young people, especially college
students are a big consumer in this business.

Regulatory Trend
a.
I found this article on the Independent
Alligator
b.
This has been a heavily discussed topic over the
recent weeks because of the fact that is it a worldwide health emergency.
c.
This problem is not only an issue that is being
faced in china, but is now on a global scale. Health centers and hospitals are
faced with this opportunity, but college students as well in the Gainesville area
are now also being faced with it because of the rumors.
d.
This is a fairly easy opportunity to exploit
mainly because it is a worldwide health crisis. And it is something everybody
is paying attention to.
Why do you believe an opportunity exists: The coronavirus is
something that should be monitored (and is being monitored) very closely
because it is something that can affect anybody.

Economic trend
a.
This article discusses 10 different reasons as
to why one should invest in Carvana, and never sell.
b.
I believe an opportunity exists because Carvana
is a business that has really seems to take off. They have a reasonable market
entry strategy, as well proven top and bottom line growth.
c.
I think investors, stock investors, and
car-buyers would be the ones most-wiling to invest or buy from this company.
d.
I would say the opportunity is relatively easy
to exploit. There are already a ton f commercials on why one should buy from Carvana.
Not to mention the data shown with respect to their numbers shows the success
of the company thus far.
Why do you believe an opportunity exists: because people are
always prioritizing their convenience over anything else. Buying a car in a
dealership can be a lengthy and time-consuming process. That being said, with
just the click of a button you can choose the car you like and purchase it on a
smartphone device. It really doesn’t get any easier or more convenient than
that.
Hi Gracie!
ReplyDeleteI also mentioned an article on nicotine products in my post. It is interesting to see how the market will change due to new alternatives being introduced. Also, I found your last article on Carvana to be quite interesting. Buying a car can be a dreadful task so I agree that a service like Carvana will continue to be successful. Many of us have the luxury to do everything from our smartphones. I definitely learned that markets seem to constantly be changing through this exercise. Great work on this post!
